Mooring registration is not a permit, authorization, or verification of any mooring or shorezone structure. Registration of a mooring is not evidence of its legal existence. Pursuant to Article 16.8 of the Rules of Procedure, owners of every mooring on, or with access to, Lake Tahoe shall pay annual fees to TRPA. If in the future, TRPA determines the registered mooring is not legally existing, the owner may be subject to compliance action, including removal of the mooring. Mooring registration fees and buoy scenic mitigation fees are non-refundable.

Notes for planner: Hello, we purchased this property in 2012 and promptly renewed our State Lands lease (attached). Unfortunately, it looks like the previous owner of this property only renewed his registration with TRPA in 2009-2010 for 1 buoy and 1 boat lift, despite the fact there have been 2 buoys and 2 boat lifts on this property for decades. I have correspondence with a TRPA representative from 2013 indicating that 2 buoys were permitted with TRPA through 2010. Thank you, Christine
