A failing wooden retaining wall in front yard was threatening to fall onto house. The wall had been poorly constructed (years ago) and was leaning against a raised walkway and being deformed as a result of this. We propose to replace the wooden retaining wall with concrete. We have removed the fill and the existing wooden wall and stabalized the excavation but were unable to finish excavating for the new required footings. We request an extension - if the wall would have failed the damage to house and property would be devestating. Someone could be seriously injured if they were on the raised walkway when/if the retaining wall failed. I have a photo of failing wall and would be happy to send to you - the threat is very apparent I also submitted a copy to the washoe county bldg dept for permit. Please contact me and I will forward a copy to you.......Sincerely, Jeff Miller
